Killimandjaro Expedition with TranZbag in the luggage

For their daring bike expedition on the Kilimandjaro, the Globetrotter adventurers Gehrig and Lüthi chose the world’s lightest bicycle transport bag TranZbag PRO to bring their bikes into the “deployment zone” of the Kilimandjaro. The robust mountain bike transport bag met the requirements of the two bikers for a light, durable transport case. Tranzbag PRO proves to be a reliable partner for both ambitious mountain bikers. Their expedition to the 5895 meters high African mountain top is a success. The African state of Tanzania officially declares the Swiss bikers to be the “first Swiss” to have been able to conquer the Kilimanjaro by bike. Before them, according to the Tanzanian authorities, only three bikers managed to climb the “roof of Africa”. Bendicht Luginbuehl, Tranzbag’s Managing Director, on the experiences of the Kilimandjaro expedition for Tranzbag: “We have noticed that TranZbag has not only proven itself thousands of times over in the daily lives of cyclists but can also withstand extreme conditions.”

The bike expedition on the Kilimandjaro was financed by sponsors and partners. The altitude donations flow into the foundation «Freude herrscht» www.freude-herrscht.ch
